The End of The Year is Near… 25.10.06 Well folks, as we loom toward the end of another year, I thought it time to update you all on what's been happening in my world. Time has certainly flown and my beautiful baby boy is growing up so quickly - he's even starting to crawl! If you'd like to see what Remington looks like at 8 months old, click HERE. He's definitely a 'Boy's boy' who loves the water, love's his food and fortunately, loves his sleep! We've been very lucky getting such a healthy, happy kid who has definitely changed our lives for the better. Meantime, work has been busy as always! Mornings with Kerri-Anne, on The Nine Network, wraps up production for this year in late November (although the 'Best Of' series will run through December and January) and we'll be back on-air in early February 2007. Needless to say that we get pretty busy with the Advertorials leading up to Xmas so keep your eye out for lot's of great Xmas present ideas! What's New is huge at the moment with some fantastic new products hitting the supermarket shelves so don't forget to check out www.whatsnewtv.com.au to see our latest TVC's. I'm also now bringing you lot's of news from around the world in What's New Radio - broadcast on the Southern Cross Network. Tune into your favourite AM Station and you might hear some interesting facts from me! We're also hoping to have a What's New Television Show on-air soon, which would bring you lots of new and interesting information and products from right around the world - so keep an eye out for that! This month, as a National Breast Cancer Foundation Ambassador, I donated my time to appear in a TVC (with 11 week old Dulux puppies Lolly-Pop and Violet-Crumble) for Bunnings, Dulux and NBCF, to remind you all to purchase your 4 litre / 10 litre Dulux paints from Bunnings. When you do, you'll get yourself a free 4 litre Jelly Bean can and then Bunnings / Dulux will donate $2 from every can to the NBCF to help fund research to find a cure for Breast Cancer. As many of you would be aware, I gave birth to a beautiful baby boy on 25th February this year. Remington Switzer-Hewson was born at 3:30am at Prince Of Wales Private Hospital (one week overdue) weighing 3.58kgs (7 pound 14oz) and measuring 52cm long. He had a bit of a rough start into this world with the Cord wrapped around his neck, but the staff at the Hospital were terrific and gave him all the care he needed to become the little fighter he is today. As I'm writing this Remi is 10 weeks old and doing great. Tim and I are very lucky to have a healthy, happy and good sleeping baby who doesn't keep us up at night! I managed to go straight back to Mornings With Kerri-Anne the week after I got out of hospital and all is going well. You may notice on the show that in some of the Advertorials I'm still pregnant... well clearly I'm not anymore but the ad's are still being aired. Don't worry there are others on-air that you are seeing as I am today. You might have also seen Remi make his debut on TV recently when he came on to 'Bid-On TV' with me and met Kerri-Anne. He did well apart from the runny nose... Being a Mum now, I thought I'd add a section to my website on some of my favourite things to do with Bub. I know it's going to be for me. This is the year of 'BIG THINGS' for myself and my family. First up, my birthday is this month... 17th January to be precise and I'm not scared to say that I will be turning 34! I remember in my 20's thinking how old 34 sounded and how I imagined my life to be so very different to what it is today. I'm pretty pleased with who I am and where I am in my life now though and I am looking forward to the rest of my 30's! I'm also having a baby shortly - it's due on the 19th February, so I will keep you posted as to what it is and it's name once it's born. I guess this is the next stage to acting like a grown-up since I'm going to be a 'Mum'. Work wise, you should still be seeing me on Mornings With Kerri-Anne on Channel 9 and there will be heaps more What's New TV Commercials coming your way as well. Make sure you also keep your eye out for me filling in for Francene Scali on the Lotto on Channel 9 every now and then, maybe I will pick your lucky numbers?! As of February, I'm having a bit of a rest from TVSN for a while after presenting there for the last 7 years, it's been fun, but something's gotta give!
